I’ve added the birthdays in to some of my contacts in my address book. They even show up on my mobile device. However, why do these birthdays not show up in my calendar? Is anything wrong?

 

Many of the great improvements in Bonsai can be found in the contact management a.k.a. the address book – there are so many new features that we could fill the whole magazine with it. Of course we will write about many of these new features in the new version of "The GroupWise Powerguide – Bonsai Edition".

 

Anyway, here’s a common request - as we could already add the birthdays and anniversaries on contacts in GroupWise 7, not a lot of people did not use this feature as these entries did not show up in your calendar.

 

 

Now that’s solved with Bonsai – if you now add these details to a contact an all-day appointment will be created in your calendar, actually more than one - each year for the next 50 years. This way you can really be the attentive person congratulating your customer or co-worker on another anniversary.
