Werner and his software developer unit was the first who brought in solutions for Novell customers to work with Linux. In the year 2000 and latest in 2003 the N-iX team presented solutions, like  the NetWare client for Linux (LNC) and the Java based GroupWise client . In April 2003, Novell Inc. acquired some IP  and performed working contracts.

 

Today, Werner and his team is working together with Novell Inc. to provide cross platform solutions for Novell customers, especially GroupWise. The final goal for our developer unit is to help customers to move away from Microsoft Windows on the desktop to Linux.
