GMS on Linux now available
GMS on Linux is now available for download in the final version at download.novell.com and it immediately hit the top-10 list of downloads. Last week it was shown already at the EMEA Tour event in Sofia (BG) and now you can try this yourself - this is the first commercial-grade wireless PDA synchronization solution on Linux. Unique is that the end-user experience is still the same, so like with GroupWise it does not matter if you run the back-end on Windows or Linux.

A big improvement is that on Lunix the admin interface is webbased. And another strong point is the wide range of supported devices, much more than what Microsoft will ever want to offer (basically they only support Windows Mobile 6). And remember, all of this is free for any organization with GroupWise 7 maintenance and upgrade protection.

So go to the download pages at the Novell website, more information about the GroupWise Mobile Server at http://www.novell.com/products/groupwise/mobileserver/, which also contains links to official supported and working-but-not supported devices.
